Calibrate RK2 temp probe

I have been looking through the user manual and other online forums but have yet to find a way to calibrate the temp probe for my RK2. I tried using the ice water method but once the temp get to about 44 degrees F, it shows that the probe has been removed. Does anyone know a reliable and accurate wat to calibrate the probe?
