firmware loads but myreef won't

I currenttly upgrade my wiring to get myreef to work. Now the 2.5 firmware loaded up first try and the temp sensor is working. but for some reason when I open myreef it tell me failed to open communication port 1? any help on this.

nevermind i fixed it just had to adjust comport. but another question is when I try to send a test email the program locks up and them stops responding an thoughs on that ?

myReef 1.0 was never tested on Vista or later. It was written to work in 2000 and XP (32 bit)

Is there any chance DA would update the software for Vista users and still happy with thier RK2 controller?

That's not likely to happen... The support for new PCs combo'ed with old hardware is increasingly difficult and not something we're able to do. I will say that most customers are retaining their old PCs when in use with the old myReef, then using the new PC for all their other tasks.
