BigFloppy's going overboard!

Postby BigFloppy on Wed Jul 28, 2010 10:12 pm

After running an RK2 for years, it's been time for me to upgrade... and what an upgrade!

Thanks to the "modularity" of the new ReefKeeper, I'm stepping it up to the next level and controlling everything
Here's a visual representation of what I'll be doing (controller wise)

I know I'm likely missing something but I've got the major bases covered I think. I'm not showing the NET module / Hub but they are in the mix as well

Can anyone see any issues with the overall design (firmware issues as well)

Just be aware of ground loops affecting you probe readings. The SL1 is not isolated but the SL2 is. The SL2 is less likely to be affected by this. I would spend the extra money to get the SL2 if you don't need the ORP input if you are buying modules to expand your system.

That's quite a system! Please post some detailed pictures when you get the install all taken care of! :D
